Designers’ Notes:
The Mike men’s carved black diamond band was designed as a surprise for our client who was drawn to more unique and artistic band designs. Taking inspiration from nature, as well as traditional symbolism like yin and yang we devised an asymmetric and organic carved pattern. This design wraps entirely around the band, allowing the shape of the band overall to mimic it’s form. For texture and color, certain pockets are filed with pave set black diamonds. On the front of the ring, a deep red ruby is offset from a white diamond, representing our client and his partner in a yin and yang orientation. The entire design is finished in a satin matte, adding a dramatic touch to the look.
Note: This men’s carved black diamond band was commissioned by and named for an Abby Sparks Jewelry client. The Mike wedding ring was made to order.
