WHAT IS BLACK GOLD?

Black gold or blackened gold is not a natural metal, it’s yellow, rose, or white gold that has been burned, blackened by using acids, by painting the gold, by baking enamel onto the gold, or by plating the gold with black rhodium.

Is Black Gold the Right Metal for You?

We do not work with or recommend black gold engagement rings. By blackening gold, you compromise the integrity of the metal. Any blackened effect will also eventually wear or chip off.
