Designers’ Notes:
The Kellie teal and green asymmetrical ring was made for our client who wanted a non-traditional engagement ring that featured her repurposed diamond from an old ring. She brought us her favorite photo of a place in Hawaii where the ocean crashes against lava rock, mixing white sea foam with deep teal waters below a green grassy cliff. We used teal sapphires sourced from Montana, USA to capture the nuanced blue-green hue she loves, and set them in a playful mix of prong and bezel settings. She chose a 14k yellow gold frame to add a warm hug to the cool tones in her ring.
