Designers’ Notes:
The Rachel Opal and Gemstone Turtle Necklace was designed for our client who wanted to create a necklace to celebrate the birth of his and Rachel’s second child. He knew he wanted it to be full of symbols. Rachel loves animals and the language of animal spirits. They chose butterflies to represent their first child. The babe on the way would have sea turtles watching over her. Rachel’s birthstone is aquamarine, the children are emerald and opal and we added blue zircon for her favorite color, lagoon blue. To incorporate both children, we also created a butterfly design on the shell of the turtle.
