Designers’ Notes:

This Double Halo Diamond Flare Ring was designed with a collection of new and heirloom stones. Our client wanted a design that was bold, strong, and pretty with an asymmetrical design layout – meant to represent the various directions in which life takes us. Now that she is older she is more confident in herself and proud of who she is, and the bright and bold colors of the teal and peach colored diamonds. Mixed into the double halo are also corn blue Montana Sapphires and Peach sapphires. It was really important that these stones be ethical, and so all the diamonds in this ring are lab-grown. On the profile of the ring, we carved secret Octopus arms into the 14k yellow gold, her favorite animal.

From our client: “This ring embraces the fullness that is me but it’s not a hierarchy with younger me. To me the ring symbolizes my past (my mom’s diamond), my future (the pear on the opposite shoulder), the nuances of me (the feathers/pink stones – strong, bold, soft, loud, quiet, steady, growing, etc) and the stages of life (the phases of the moon with the blue halo). It honors the me that came before, embraces the complexities of me now, and allow space for change and growth in the future. It also honors “my next marriage” – the next stage of my relationship with my partner that celebrates what we are taking into the next chapter of our relationship both with our individual growth and our growth as a partnership.”
