Designers’ Notes:
Made for an environmental engineer, this cluster engagement ring with a wide band in white gold was built for beauty and durability. The pear cut diamond on one side of the center stone and the three small to the other side create asymmetry in their shape but also their setting style – the pear being set with prongs and the smaller diamonds being bead set. The filagree on the side of the center bezel that can be seen in profile view was designed to emulate vines.
